Grading
- programming assignments: 50%, each graded according to the
following standards

- one midterm exam: 25%
- one final project: 25%
Protocol
- Examinations: There will be one midterm exam,
which will be held on Thursday, October 15, during the first part of the
usual class session.

Homeworks: Programming assignments (as announced
in class, and on the class website).
So far, we have assigned the following:
- Final project: Rather than a final exam, there
will be a
final project. It will be graded
according to the grading standards of the homework programming
assignments. It will be due on Thursday, December 17, at 6:00 pm (which
would have been the time of the final exam).

issues, with which you definitely need to be familiar. It
also briefly discusses the setup of web pages on the
computer systems run by the Department of Computer and
Information Sciences.

fancily formatted, but you might find them useful.
- You may examine the example programs
contained in the text. This directory is organinized by chapters.
